(craft tutorial) handprint bunny hoop art

Here’s a quick and easy Easter craft that you can do with your kiddos this weekend. I just love handprint art because it’s a way to keep your kids little forever. I wish I would have done more handprint crafts with Logan when he was a baby, but he wasn’t a huge fan of getting dirty. Now I can get away with painting his hands as long as I have a wipe nearby to quickly clean the paint off. My 9 month old, on the other hand, is all about the mess and had a ball with this. I recommend having an assistant help you with this craft when doing it with babies or toddlers who still like to stick things in their mouth. I can’t wait to hang up my new Easter decor for years to come!

Materials

Embroidery Hoop

Fabric

White Fabric Paint

Pink Fabric Paint

Black Puff Paint

Sponge Brush

Paint Brush

Hot Glue Gun

Pom Pom Trim

Instructions: Paint your child’s hand, avoiding the thumb, with white fabric paint and a sponge brush. Have them spread their fingers into a “V” shape and place directly on a piece of fabric. Press down for a few seconds and come straight up to avoid smearing. Using a paint brush, paint 2 lines of pink fabric paint down the center of the 2 “ears” as shown in the photo. Paint on a pink nose and use black puff paint to draw on the mouth, eyes and whiskers. Allow to dry and place inside of an embroidery hoop. Hot glue pom pom trim around the hoop and hang.
